Queerview television guide for March 29th

Not too terribly much on the tube today, but for the second time in a week I'm actually actively encouraging people to watch Jay Leno, and that's something in and of itself.

CSI (CBS) 9:00PM EDT
Queer as Folk's Robert Gant (who also recently appeared in Chad Allen's ex-gay movie Save Me at Sundance) guest stars on tonight's episode, which involves a string of showgirl murders. Thing is, all of the showgirls lived in the same house --- Dun-Dun-DUNNNNNNN! That's all I got for you on this one.

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (NBC) 11:35PM EDT
I know, I can hardly believe that I'm trying to pull you away from my beloved Colbert Report. But this is fancy: tonight openly gay musicians Dave Koz and Johnny Mathis appear on the show, to play a tune from Koz's new album At the Movies. We interviewed Koz last month about the CD, which also features Vanessa Williams, Barry "The Man" Manilow, and more.

J. Mathis

Brian -- I don't consider Johhny Mathis to be out. I know that it was printed in an interview in 1982 that he said he is gay, but he later claimed that he was speaking off the record and that was never have supposed to be printed. Since then, to my knowledge, he has never ever publicly discussed being gay. I love Mathis, always have, but I wouldn't call him an out gay man. Kenneth Hill
