Queerview television guide for May 10th

Thursday means three things: it's the home stretch to the weekend, there's a buy-one-get-one-free draft beer special at my local watering hole, and Ugly Betty is on. It's a good time to be a kid in America. Or so the kids tell me.

As you may recall, tonight's episode take the Suarez familia to Mexico in order to try to fix Ignacio's immigration issues, where they meet up with Betty's aunt (played by the insanely talented Rita Moreno from West Side Story, Oz, and others). Meanwhile, back at Mode things get complicated for Marc (who is becoming jealous of Amanda's new faux-mo boyfriend) and Alexis (who is revisited by an old flame -- a girl-type one, at that -- played by former Noxema girl Rebecca Gayhart).

The Colbert Report (Comedy Central) 11:30PM EDT
We mentioned the other day how we have totally nonsexual crushes on Stephen Colbert (well, mostly nonsexual) and his incredibly keen brand of satire. Tonight Colbert welcomes Rolling Stone magnate Jann Wenner on the show -- and one can guess that the fact that Wenner left his wife for a man (designer Matt Nye) with whom he now has a child will be mentioned.

Wenner is also a well-documented neat freak (his interoffice memos about keeping tidy desks are legendary), which might be a topic of common interest for the two, based entirely on Colbert's horrifyingly orderly hair.
