Reigning Gay of the Week: Dr. Kyle Julian, "General Hospital: Night Shift"
On Friday we launched a new weekly feature here on the blog called Battle of the Network Gays, in which we ask you, the gay-going public, to choose which television gay deserves to wear the crown for the week. The people have spoken, and General Hospital: Night Shift's Dr. Kyle Julian (Adam Grimes) won by a landslide over real gay Lance Bass (Dancing With the Stars) and Kurt (Mad Men). To find out why Kyle won and by how much, click on through the jump! Why he won: Last week Dr. Kyle Julian had a teary goodbye to his ailing new beau (played by out actor Chad Allen) and prepared himself for another teary goodbye to his former BFF Claire ... and then the hospital exploded. Talk about a bad day! How he won: Kyle earned a whopping 51% of the votes, while Lance Bass and Kurt from Mad Men earned 26% and 23%, respectively. Past wins: This was Kyle's first nomination and first win. Remember, this week brings us a whole new batch of gay characters going about their gay business, and this Friday three new challengers will face off with Kyle for the title. If you have suggestions as to who's up for the challenge, feel free to make suggestions in the comments! Submitted by on Mon, 2008-10-20 11:33. |
