Your Gay of the Week: Neil Patrick Harris

That's right, out actor Neil Patrick Harris swiped the crown off of Scotty Wandell's head and danced his way to the throne thanks to his turn as a pragmatic song-and-dance man in Prop 8: The Musical ... although it probably didn't hurt that the manscaped bounty of the recent "Naked Man" episode of How I Met Your Mother was still fresh in voters' minds.

Why he won: As mentioned above, Harris skillfully employed his musical theater skills in Prop 8, while his considerable physical assets were put on full display in his dayjob (playing hetero lothario Barney Stinson on HIMYM). 

How he won: Harris pulled 54% of the vote, with Scotty holding 37%. Tree-lighting badunk-a-dunk Cheyenne Jackson earned 7% of the vote, with Clay Aiken bringing up the rear with only 2%.

Past wins: This is Harris's first nomination and first win.

KPH will wear the crown until this Friday, when three new challengers will arise to vie for the title. Enjoy your gay supremacy while it lasts, your majesty!
