Reigning Gay of the Week: Noah Mayer, "As the World Turns"

As the World Turns' Noah Mayer (Jake Silbermann) has managed to stave off a gay mutiny and hold his title of Gay of the Week for a second term.

To find out by what margin Noah won the title against challengers Dan Savage, Richard (Top Chef) and Neil Patrick Harris, head on through the jump. And be sure to check back in on Friday when a new crop of hopefuls throw down the gay gauntlet in the name of network supremacy!

Why he won: Noah was once again the coffee-slinging Yin to his boyfriend Luke's revenge-obsessed Yang, and his relatively (though completely inconsistently) cool head earned him some serious fannage.

How he won: Noah earned a full 50% of the total votes, with National Spokesgay Dan Savage pulling a respectable #2 with 31%. Neil Patrick Harris pulled 14% and Richard the Sautéing Bear from Top Chef earned a mere 5%.

Past wins: This is Noah's second week beneath the crown.

Things look to be pulling back a bit this week for Noah, so it will be interesting to see if he can stay in the good favor of the voting public. We'll see you on Friday, when your votes will determine whether that fancy piece of hardware will remain on his head.
