The return of Dante's Cove, everyone's favorite gay softcore supernatural soap

Technically, it's not fair to call Dante's Cove a soap opera, because it was never sponsored by a detergent company and doesn't really feature much soap. But you know what it does feature a lot of?

Nipples.

So I think we should call it a "nipple opera".

To prove the point, here are some pics to celebrate the imminent start of season three of the ghostly nipple opera, which finds Noah's Arc's Jensen Atwood (with whom we have a brand-new interview running later this week) and Amazing Race's Reichen Lehmkuhl joining the undershirt-challenged cast. Enjoy!

Jensen Atwood is Griff

Charlie David is Toby

Reichen Lehmkuhl is Trevor

Reichen Lehmkuhl and Charlie David are shirtless

Jon Fleming is Adam

Gregory Michael is Kevin and William Gregory Lee is Ambrosius

    Charlie David got smkin' hot!

Wow, Charlie David got buffer which is good, the dye job not so good.  IS it just the cleaner, no stubble jawline or did he get work done?  He looks slightly different than before.

I can't believe Charlie David got bigger.  I wanted him to but never thought he would.  This is going to be the best season ever. :)

    Disappointing...

This past week-end I rented disc one of Dante's Cove. "Heck," I thought, "a show described as a sort of supernatural gay gothic soap opera---sounds like a lot of fun!" Okay, the concept sounded very promising, but man---this show is terrible!  The writing is absolutely atrocious---a great idea totally wasted by stupid scripts.  I guessed what I was in for right off, in one of the very first scenes of the show's prologue, that was supposedly set in 1840----and there, in plain sight on the set, was a modern electric table lamp.  SHEESH!  Now that is just incredibly sloppy.

And yet, I did enjoy the programme in its own cheesy way---I'll be watching disc two in a few days.  But I'll admit most of the draw of the show is simply because lead actor Charlie David is so extremely cute and appealing.  Ah, I'm nothing if not shallow...

But looking at these photos of him, I can't help but note that he looks nothing at all like he did at the start of the show.  Now he just seems to be another anonymous muscle-bound hunk; not very interesting.  So, that is kind of disappointing....

    Charlie David! What have you

Charlie David! What have you done to your body?!?

I'm sorry to say that I though that he was WAY hotter in season 1-2. I like muscle guys but the way his body looks unnatural ... I'm sorry to say it's just gross(I won't even mention the hair... oups I did.)
