Scoopage! Is Cheyenne Jackson venturing into the "Lipstick Jungle"?

We got a thrilling piece of scoopage in our mailbox today from a lovely reader who shall remain nameless: according to our source, out Broadway hunk-a-dunk Cheyenne Jackson is currently upstate shooting a guest spot for NBC's Ladybusiness Lipstick Jungle, where he will play a love interest for one of the ladies (after the jump, for spoiler's sake).

Now, granted, this could all be an elaborate ruse devised by some insidious Xanadu on Broadway/Lipstick Jungle slashfic group, but we're hoping that it's at least a little bit true.  

Earlier this summer we reported that Jungle was going to be getting considerably gayer this season, with an existing character coming out early in the season and another coming out later ... and adding one of the biggest up-and-coming out gay actors around is certainly going to add to their gay cache. Hmmm ... anyone else wondering if Mr. Jackson (if you're nasty) might be involved in either of these gay stories? 

Thanks to our tipper! And congrats to NBC, who just pulled what is just about the only trick that would actually get me to tune into this show.
