"Sex Drive" pics and trailer: The next "Superbad" or just ... bad?

A new teen sex comedy called Sex Drive hits theaters October and despite being neither a teen nor the target demo for a movie about straight guys trying to "lose it", I'll admit the trailer had me laughing like a twelve-year-old.

There's a gay joke or two in the trailer (not of the "bad kind," from the looks of it) and there seems to be something up with the Amish guy played by Seth Green in the above production still, but we're not sure what. At any rate, we like many of the folks involved (including the very gay-friendly James Marsden playing against type as a gearhead lunk, Greek's Clarke Duke, and Green) ... might this be this year's Superbad in terms of being able to mine gay situations and subtext without being offensive?
