Huge fan of this show and The San Fran. RockDogs
I watched my first 2 episodes and was instantly in love with the everything about this show. I can't lie and say I'm a big sports fan because give me a Broadway PBS special any day. However I spend a few summers at The Olivets Boys and Girls Club, hooping, bowling and swimming. I also learned how to make funnel cake and chased boys around until I was tired and dizzy. It seems when it came down to sports, unless I'm playing, I'm not interested.
Watch this show and just looking at how insane their bodies looked, would really inspired me to get off my lazy butt and do some crunches and spend some extra time on the trend mill but mainly to get a ball and every now and then get on a court and hustle a bit, like when I was younger.
The guys on this show make for great TV, besides being easy on the eyes, they are your everyday-gay-guys-nextdoor. Except for the sole fact, that they can really hoop (play ball). Seing John Amaechi on the show just was one of the many highlights because he has really been a force to be reckoned with since coming out and putting a lid on that age old question about homosexuality and professional sports.
I have to say though, the highlight for me was the ongoing topic of 'being born gay or not' was so interesting to me because I don't know how I feel about that same topic. I can honestly say that I know everyday I answer a bit different. However I have never been ashamed of being gay but I don't know if I was born that way or my surrounds made being gay easier for me to adapt to. It's a hot topic.
Then there is the youngest member of the squad,Mike. This is the most fragile guy, I have ever seen on any show because you don't expect him to be that sensitive because you see this beautiful tatted, chocolate man and you think he would never be so sweet and ready to breakdown. However if he ever cries on that show, I know that I will be crying at home because he is my baby. I used to have Spencer Pratt from 'The Hills' as the sexy guy on Reality TV but Spencer is so mean, still cute but mean. Move over Spencer because Mike gets my vote, he is the complete package and he is gay. I pray he makes it and finally comes out to his folks and friends because I see him going all the way and he is undeniably NBA material.
This show is a winner and brings back all the memories and semi-wet dreams, I had of that TV show 'White Shadow'. I know, I just showed a bit of my age but any time there is sweaty guys in shorts and some real tender moments, I'm there.
John Amaechi
is amazing as always!
And god this show is so much fun!I`m loving it!
