Sounds Like a Hit! video blog Ep. 6: "Doubt", Barbra Drysand, and Beyonce's fog machine

The boys are back in their respective towns (NYC and Los Angeles) and this week they're tacking this season's biggest stage-to-screen adaptation, Doubt. Does anyone else think the film could have used some Cher in a bonnet?

Plus, Viola Davis's snot, Beyonce's Barbra tribute, Tony-winning witches and plenty more bicoastal cuteness.

    I agree with you that it wasn't as exciting on the screen as it was in the play, though I think, to some degree, both Meryl and Hoffman weren't right. I agree with your assessment of Streep's performance, she needed to approach it in a much stronger way. I thought Hoffman was too hard, he needed to be more vulnerable.
