Stephen Colbert: If the homosexuals aren't out to destroy marriage, what ARE they out to destroy?

My love for Stephen Colbert (both the actor and his insanopundit alter-ego) is almost as well-documented as his support of gay visibility by this point. But in a typical one-up, last night Colbert pulled a hilarious move in an interview with South Carolina's fourth district Representative Bob Inglis, asking the Republican rep could support gay marriage.

When Inglis notes that it's the heterosexuals who are threatening marriage and not the gays, Colbert counters that the gays have already ruined moustaches and short-shorts for "the rest of us" and gives some photographic evidence to support his claim.

Check it out after the jump. You'll like.

Is there no other way to watch Colbert or Stewart clips other than through the Comedy Central videos? It pain me to not being able to watch them anymore due to not being in the USA. They are so funny....

Not sure why, but it has to

Not sure why, but it has to do with being in Canada.

I can't access the Comedy Central clips either and I've had the same problem before with another After Elton article about the Daily Show.

How odd

How very odd... that Canada is geolocked out but not the UK. Maybe another network has the rights to TDS/TCR in Canada and has requested those episodes be blocked?

Unfortch, no...

That really sucks. They are hosting all the full episodes and will go after any video sharing site with a pickaxe if they find any COLBERT or DAILY SHOW anywhere else.

This guys is just too funny.

I enjoy watching this politicos react to Colberts cool and collected wackyness. That interview with Lou Dobbs as Esteban Colberto a few weeks go was hillarious. I love this guy.

Esteban!

That was AMAZING. I'm wondering how they pulled that one off, as he obviously wasn't asking Dobbs the questions en Espanol... I wonder if Dobbs had any idea what the final product was going to look like?

Well, as soon as he saw the fence and the dancing girls he must have known he was in for it. And about the interview, they might have really done it because Dobbs is married to a mexican woman and maybe he speaks the language. Makes you wonder ha.

You never see Dobbs and Esteban in the same shot...

It seemed pretty evident to me that they taped the interview with Dobbs and then taped the Esteban clips separately. You never see Stephen as Esteban (or the chicas) in the same shot as Dobbs, so I gather they did a "straight" interview with him first and then had Colbert redo his half after as Esteban? You do catch a glimpse of purple blazer sleeve in one of Dobbs' shots, but they could have explained that away at the time pretty easily. I just can't imagine he'd agree to be a part of that!

I'm also from Canada

and can't watch Colbert and Stewart clips from Comedy Central. As Lyle guessed, the network CTVglobemedia and its division The Comedy Network own the rights to TDS/TCR. Not sure if the clips are available on either of their websites as both CTV and The Comedy Network broadcast the shows.
