To Make a Long Story Short ... Lithuanian intolerance, Kylie Minogue, and more!

- Bus drivers in Lithuania refused to drive trolleys with ads promoting tolerance toward gays. The incendiary ads carried such audacious messages as "Homosexual employees can be frank" and "A lesbian can work at a school". Um, I have a gay friend named Frank -- and what, they have no gym classes in Lithuanian schools?!
- Chemistry.com's throwdown to eHarmony has of course been met with a chorus of "No fair!"s by the notoriously exclusionary dating giant, who says the ads unfairly paint them as being "arbitrary", or worse, "religiously or racially discriminatory" in the way that they reject potential customers. But they don't deny the "homophobic" charges -- so go ahead and continue to ignore them and their creepy Orville-Redenbacher-meets-the-Crypt-Keeper spokesman.
- Kylie Minogue is going to be on Doctor Who! Squeeee! And by "squeee" I mean, have they lost their marbles?
- Did you see Joe and Walter's "don't-blink-or-you'll-miss-it" storyline on last week's Grey Anatomy? Joe and Walter accompany a pregnant woman who might choose them to adopt her baby to the hospital for an ultrasound. Joe passes out during the ultrasound, and...that about sums it up. Any one commercial had more screen time than they did! Not to mention character development. Oh, well, maybe they're setting something up.
- Ticket's to Broadway Bares/Equity Cares are on sale. If the warm, fuzzy feeling you get from doing something good isn't enough motivation for you, how about the warm, fuzzy feeling this chap stirs up?
