We just pulled ahead in the As the World Turns Luke/Noah poll for the first time... 1219 for, 1187 against.
As long as the Supreme Court doesn't get involved we should be fine. ;)
the closer
well, i watched my first and last episode. this lady harasses a gay kid (who, naturally is high on ecstacy...gee, they must have watched an episode of "queer as folk" from years ago to get their idea of what gay kids do)...until he says he wishes he was dead.
btw, this lady is supposed to be the "hero" of this show.

i don't know if that's the case here, though.i'm sure they didn't intend for this character to come off as a cold, heartless shrew...but that's what i got from it. actually, she probably would have treated this kid this way if he was straight, so i don't think it was deliberately homophobic...but it still makes her extremely unlikeable.
