To Make a Long Story Short ... more pro-gay polls, my BEST.GAY.WEEK.EVER!, and more!

  • Another poll (this one by CBS/Time) notes that young people are more pro-gay than older people. In related news: younger people more likely to listen to "that rock-it-to-me-sock-it-to-me music" and drive "horseless carriages".
  • Isaiah Washington says there's no such thing as homophobe rehab. Unfortunately for him, there's also no such thing as complete career self-annihilation rehab. Unless you count Scientology.
  • Ted-Haggard-toppling Mike Jones (and yes, there is an "l" in toppling, thank you) released a tell-all called I Had to Say Something. And here's an interview, in which he ... well ... says something.
  • Andy over at Towleroad caught a screening of Hairspray (spoiler alert: he liked it!). Between his take and our own Christie Keith's rough-cut epiphany from a few months back, this is looking promising.
  • A big AfterElton hug to our pal Greg Hernandez over at OutinHollywood, on the occasion of its first birthday. Is there an emoticon for "big decorated cookie"?
  • And ... that's it, folks! Michael's out this week, so we're doing things East-Coast style and closing on my time. But if you haven't read it yet, first guest stint on the BEST.GAY.WEEK.EVER! column (complete with melodramatic rodent punctuation) should get you through the closing bell. Have a great weekend!
