Video: First look at "True Blood" Season Two ... wait, WTF was that?!

You may remember that a few of us here on the Good Ship AfterElton are pretty big True Blood nuts, so it should be no surprise that we're very excited to see the show return this June. But permit us to be a little ... confused by what goes on in this here clip from one of the early episodes.

The big mystery going into the season is, of course, who is attached to the seemingly dead foot sticking out of Andy Bellafleur's car in the Season One finale. But if you've read the source books you're going to have even bigger questions to consider once you watch this clip...

Okay, so if you've read Living Dead in Dallas (the second book in the Southern Vampire Mysteries series), as I now have, you'll recognize the setup of this scene as the point in the book where Sookie and Bill get into a fight and Sookie is attacked on a country road by ... well, by someone we've seen before in the world of the television show.

So why in this clip does it look like she's being chased by Tim Curry's character from Legend?!
