Video: The Captains kiss on Torchwood's Season 2 opener

Hot on the heels of yesterday's pics of Captain Jack (John Barrowman) and his rogue captain former flame (James Marsters of Buffy fame) lip-locking in the premiere episode of Torchwood's second season, we've got the video of the scene. What begins as an innocent "friend visiting old friend in a bar" scene moves quickly into an "old friends making out while no one's looking scene" and then moves swiftly into a "now I understand why it didn't work out between these two in the first place" scene ... watch below to find out why!

PS, using Blur's "Song 2" during a fight scene will never get old. Never.

We've also got the first few minutes of the episode, which are pretty darn funny. Check 'em out:

I love the look of the new series.

Although worth pointing out that if you watch the one minute TW s2 trailer you will see that it's not only captain John that Jack's going to be kissing this series. There's some very beutiful spoilery(if you're picky) pics here.

I am so glad James Marsters is back; I loved him on Buffy. This scene reminded me of the one on Buffy when Spike and Buffy first had sex, except the huge knockout fight came first, then the kissing. Marsters must have felt in his element during this scene with all the fight scenes he has been in. I'm glad to see him expand his horizons with a gay role, but not surprised since he seemed to be willing to take creative risks on Buffy (he was the only one to appear nearly nude in a couple of scenes) and has come across as very open-minded and intelligent in his interviews.

Both clips look great. And some much needed humour....''It's more fun when he's around'........óh, yeah"...cannot wait for the 16th. And james looks fantastic as captain john, who also turns up in the last episode, apparently.

Seems to me the blowfish is a bit of a blowhard. The bar scene is interesting. But isn't Jack a bit tall for Spike? And doesn't anybody get out before midnight anymore?

By the way, Angel appeared nude on Buffy, in the scene where he is brought back from hell after Buffy killed him.
