Folks, let's speak plainly. It's summer, it's hot, and there are men in shorts and tank-tops ALL OVER THE DAMN PLACE. To make it worse, celebrity rags like People are running stories on "Hottest Bachelors" and the like, further reinforcing the fact that we are literally swimming in man-candy.

Partly to celebrate this, and partly to add a purely gay perspective to the whole "hottest this, hottest that" zeitgeist, we've borrowed an idea from our sassy sisters over at AfterEllen.com: create a shallow, looks-based list of the guys that we and other gay fellas find hottest. This isn't a "most beautiful people" sham where we talk about "inner beauty" or "charity work" or "intelligence" or any of that hooey: this is a chance to see how gay male aesthetic preferences stack up against the rest of the world.
