Your Gay of the Week: Dustin Lance Black, Oscar winner

Sure, he won an Oscar and a Spirit Award, but now Milk screenwriter Dustin Lance Black really has something to write home about: He has taken the crown in the Battle of the Network Gays.

Why he won: Not only did the screenwriter take home the little gold man, but his speech was just about perfect when it comes to gay visibility, grace, and sheer balls.

How he won: Black earned a full 58% of the votes, which is pretty huge. Reigning gay Noah Mayer of As the World Turns placed a distant second with 29%, with Ongina of RuPaul's Drag Race earning 9% and The Amazing Race's adorable Luke Adams earning only 4% for taking a dozen cakes to the face.

Past wins: This is Black's first time wearing the crown.
