Your Gay of the Week: Luke Snyder, "As the World Turns"

That's right, folks: In what was perhaps a curiously prescient display of voter savvy, gays everywhere voted virginal afterglow-enabled soaps pioneer Luke Snyder their champion in this week's Battle of the Network Gays, returning the crown to his well-coifed little noggin' for the first time since November.

Why he won: Well, I can't say for sure ... aside from the fact that he's adorable, got lots of fans and can't seem to catch a break, which makes him a pretty endearing candidate to champion. Granted, we may as well just hand him his renewal slip for this week after what went down on today's episode ... or might equally lucky boyfriend Noah Maher take advantage of King Luke's post-coital haze and snatch the headgear off his head? It's like the gay Tudors up in here!

How he won: Luke earned a full 47% of the votes, with Scotty Wandell from Brothers & Sisters pulling in a respectable 31%. Neil Patrick Harris got 18% and Calvin Owens pulled a mere 4%.

Past wins: This is Luke's third time wearing the crown.
