Your Gay of the Week: Luke Snyder, "As the World Turns"

For the seventh time, Luke Snyder of As the World Turns has won the crown in the Battle of the Network Gays. While we love us some Luke (and, clearly, so do many of you), his breezy domination of the throne has led us to add a rule to this here little game ... which we'll get to when we unroll this week's contenders. For now, we're just gonna let the little fella enjoy his fancy seat.

To find out by what margin Luke bested the other challengers, read on. And be sure to check back in on Friday when a new crop of hopefuls throw down the gay gauntlet in the name of network supremacy!

Why he won: Luke did some more advocacy work and dealt with his biological father's stabbing, all the while managing to work in nuzzles with his boyfriend as the newly-arrived Wonder Twins looked on.

How he won: Young Master Snyder earned 42% of the votes for the week, besting runner-up Pedro Zamora, who earned a very respectable 29%. Karaoke juggernaut Adam Lambert pulled 24%, while Darryl Stephens earned 5% for looking particularly dashing on the GLAAD red carpet.

Past wins: This is Luke's seventh tour of duty, making him the most popular Gay of the Week ever.

We'll see you on Friday, when we will introduce a new element to the contest and your votes will determine who will enjoy gaydom's most sought-after piece of headgear next week!
