Your Gay of the Week: Oliver "Olli" Sabel
What, first a year in Ibiza and now a crown? Looks like someone's having a good year! Below, you can find out just how and why Oliver "Olli" Sabel earned the love of the gay voting public this week, and by what margins his puppy-dog eyes and adorable umlauts ruthlessly shattered the dreams of his opponents. Why he won: After vacationing in Ibiza for approximately 3,403 weeks, Olli returned to Germany and the welcoming arms of his boyfriend, Christian. How he won: Olli earned 52% of the votes, so his presence was clearly missed by the voting public. Out actor Russell Tovey pulled a respectable 32% for baring his ass fangs on Being Human, out actor Bryan Batt earned 13% of the votes for winning a SAG Award along with his Mad Men castmates, and Ted Haggard bottomed out with a mere 3% for continuing to be a deluded mess but getting press for it. Past wins: This is Olli's first nomination and win. We'll see you on Friday, when your votes will determine whether Olli will hold on to the crown or lose it to one of the new challengers. A well deserved win...Olli
A well deserved win...Olli is as sweet as sugar and the best boyfriend any man could ask for. It's no wonder Christian was stuck to him like glue in the return episode.
Olli was dearly missed. So glad to have him back on screen.

Seeing Olli back on VL last week was definitely a breath of fresh air.

Yay! Olli is probably my favorite gay character of any tv show! I mean, who wouldn't want a boyfrind like him? Kind, intelligent and not bad looking either;)
He's finally back from Ibiza now, but please, let us see something happen with Ollian! SOMETHING! They didn't even have a storyline before he went to Ibiza and he was gone like two months! I would like to see the writers give them something to do. Maybe a love triangle of some sorts wouldn't be so bad. I love Ollian, and wouldn't want anything or anyone break them up, but it gets boring watching the same old all the time.. Whatever the writers come up with, please, just give em something to do!

Congratulations to Olli. He sure is the best boyfriend you can have. Together with Christian it is the most fantastic gay couple on television.
When I found out about them on You Tube I was totally hooked up to this story. The way they give meaning to their roles is just wonderfull.
The chemistry between Jo und Thore is beyond amazing. So Olli/Jo enjoy your status of gay of this week. You deserve it!
