Therapy Thursdays with Dr. Crankyboots: What's your Deadly Sin?

Hello again, fur-challenged bipeds! It's Thursday, and time for your weekly couch time with yours truly, Dr. Crankyboots, Licensed Feline Homosexual Therapist.

Take a pause from your routine of compulsively refreshing DListed to join the group for some quality sharing. And please bring sardines. They are good for reflection (and a shiny coat!).

Today's topic is sin.

In my many years as an observer of human types (I'm nearly 65 in cat years, don't you know) I've come to realize that most people, no matter how good or virtuous they may be, have a fatal flaw. Meaning, something that prevents them from achieving their goals, maintaining healthy relationships or filling my bowl in the middle of the night when I'm peckish.

Homosexual Tom Ford: Lust or Vanity? To pick both would be Greedy...

I caught a movie on the television the other night called Seven, which dealt with the idea of Seven Deadly Sins. (Have you heard of this film? It's gruesome, but I recommend tracking it down!) From what I gather, it seems to me that most humans have a particular weakness for one of the following: Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Envy, Wrath, Pride, or Lust.

Now, from my extensive studies of human homosexual behavior I'd imagine that most gays have the hardest time dealing with Lust or Vanity. Is this the case?

Which Deadly Sin is your weak spot?
