The boys of Make Me a Supermodel like bananas
Every week while I'm sitting on my couch watching Make Me a Supermodel and writing the liveblog, I can't help but be astonished at just how gay this show really is. Yes, it's on Bravo, it's about modeling, and it features an out and proud contestant (Ronnie Kroell) so its not like I'm gobsmacked that the queer meter is through the roof ... but with pictures like the ones above, the real talk of the blogosphere is about the straight models' willingness to go gay.

I would only have a problem with it if there were a guy on there saying "I'm so straight. I'm only doing this to get ahead. I hate gays." But they're not.
What I love so much about it is that there are guys on there (albeit guys who might very well have some latent sugar in their tanks HELLO FRANKIE, BEN, PERRY) who are so open-minded about a different lifestyle, tolerant of others (exluding Frankie, though; what a pr*ck), and genuinely confident in who they are.
I love the fact that a guy like Ben, who lives in a rural area of the South and works as a freaking PRISON GUARD can be intimate with an openly gay man and not be threatened. YES, there is probably more that could be said about Ben and whether he has a secret desire (and no wonder Ronnie has a crush on him!), but that is not the point at all. Can't two guys experience passion without it making them gay? (Not that there's anything wrong with that! hahah)
So, like I said (or tried to say), I'm enjoying the show and the fact that "hell, we're all just people underneath." [Just some of us aren't as pretty, dammit! I hate those guys! hahah]

I have not watched this show
as yet, the only thing that puzzles me is why all the gay sex innuendoes? Is that to titilate viewers or does actually have a purpose in the competition. Not that there is anything wrong with it (LOL) just wondering.

Cannot get this in Canada
Unfortunately we don't get this show in Canada. Eventhough it is on Bravo. Bravo in Canada does not carry this show. BUMMER!!!!!!!!
