"The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency" recaplet (Ep. 4.07): Boys in undies, girls in plus sizes

Previously on The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, while Janice taught the girls how to strip down and seduce a man we were left wondering how long it would take for the boys to reclaim their throne as the most naked folks on reality television.  Well, the wait is over because last night on JDMA, those boys and their buns were high and tight thanks to a new job for the Agency.  All together now: "It's about damn time!" 

Now I don't want you to think that this week was all about boys in underwear, as a huge focus of JDMA this week was on plus size models.  We've heard the that stick figure Janice squawk about it before but when their newest client Seven 'til Midnight demands girls with curves, Janice's son Nathan steps in to fight for fuller figured girls.

At the beginning of the casting, AfterElton.com fave J.P. Calderon pulls Janice aside to withdraw himself from the casting.  Dressed as a Dirty Doctor, he voices his opinions on how this will make him look in the eyes of the gay community.  J.P. feels that he is poking fun at his image and doing a diservice to anyone that looks up to him as a gay role model.  Instead of slapping him or firing him, Janice actually sympathizes with his position and supports the man.  It was like bizarro world in the JDMA house for a second.

After the client pickes newbies Xian and Selena to join veteran model and David Beckham look-alike Dominic for their photo shoot, the client explains how they are a company for every kind of person and inquires where Janice's plus-sized girls are.

You'd think that they had just told Janice that they wanted an unborn fetus to wear a mink stole while rollerskating on the back of a hippo with the way she reacts.  Janice doe everything but slap the client across the face for suggesting she have fuller-figured girls on her roster.

Thank goodness Nathan is there to save the day!  Who knew he'd be the rational one in bunch?  Tasked with finding a crop of cake eaters with only a couple hours to spare, the boy is put to work in hopes of sealing the deal.  Well, he delivers!  In wald three buxom babes ready to change Janice's mind and make her a lot of money in the process.

Ivory, Amber and Alana bring the sass, the sex and the size that Seven til Midnight is looking for but the job goes to Ivory, Nathan's newest discovery.  At the shoot the next day, Ivory is the model that the client loves the most so when Janice walks onto set my heart sinks in fear of how she will act toward her newest star.

Just as I feared, Janice acts like a 18 year old frat boy.  The second she sees Ivory in her sexy cop outfit she turns and starts telling Dom that she can't handle seeing the girl's fat behind.  She asks Nathan for a bag that she can throw up into.  It gets so bad at one point that Nathan actually has to push her (by the face) out of the room.  Now, look at Ivory in her sexy cop outfit, the girl is slammin' - at any size - and it's sickening that Janice can't recognize that and show some respect.

I felt dirty even watching this portion of the show. Janice was completely out of line, rude and inappropriate to not only the model but the client. She's a real piece of work... 

To add insult to anorexia she tells Xian that she considers her the most plus she'll let one of her models get and completely degrades the girl in front of the entire crew.  It's hideous.  I don't care how funny and wacky Janice can be, she's down right evil sometimes.

Back at the model house, J.P. talks with Xian and Crystal (the first JDMA model Janice badgered into losing weight  back in Season 1) about body image and the horrors of weight in the modeling world.  They try to rationalize Janice's comments and her original Supermodel mentality but will things change?  Doubtful.  Then Xian gets all sex kitten with everyone in the house and look, big girls can have fun too!

The next morning, designer Andrew Christian stops by to corral the guys for an underwear casting!  Can someone tell me what a flashback boxer with flashback butt lifting technology is?  Anyone?  Didn't think so. Apparently all we needed to know is that last season, Danny's butt shaving gave Andrew Christian his inspiration.  In his eyes, Danny has the perfect tight and uplifting butt and he wants everyone to at least appear as if they too have the perfect ass.

The support system is built right into the boxer so now every man on earth can have Danny's butt.  Hey, people have stuffed their shorts with worse things...

In the end, Andrew Christian picks Dominic, Christian, Payton, Chandler and Paul Vandervort for callbacks.  After a little foreplay with Nadia, Christian and Dominic are chosen for the shoot. God bless these straight boys and their willingness to shove their asses in each others faces.

Sure there are the obligatory "that was kind of gay", "I'm not gay... not that there's anything wrong with it" comments but if you mute the television, it's as gay as you want it to be!  

That's the end of the hotness and the beginning of the ugliness...

Later it is time for Chandler to solidify his position as the biggest jerk in the house.  For weeks now he's become increasingly ugly (on the inside) toward a number of the models and tonight is no exception.  The tirade startsby when he calls Polina a communist and being an ugly American.  Sorin calls him a racist so Chandler belittles him (off camera of course). 

When the three plus-sized models move into the house it gets even worse.  Even though the models take Paul's bedroom upon Nathan's request there is no reason for Chandler to start berating the girls.  He gives vocabulary lessons to Alana then rips Xian's head off for sticking up for the new girls before going back in for more.  I won't go into details but after the fat jokes start flying my girl Alana ends it by saying: "If you've got fat jokes coming, I've got a switch blade to cut your ass."  Atta girl!

Toward the end of the episode J.P. started showing signs of leaving the agency.  He realized that living in the house makes him feel old and that maybe it's time for him to move on.  What do you guys think about that?  He's the heart and soul of the show so that could be bothersome.  Would you guys still watch if J.P. bounces?  Let's talk...
