Paul Lambert Returns to "Emmerdale"

Various sources are reporting that Matthew Bose who played Emmerdale's groundbreaking and exceedingly popular gay character Paul Lambert will be returning to the show next month after a year's absence. The 36-year-old Bose spent four years on the soap and his Paul Lambert was the first British soap character ever to marry a boyfriend onscreen. (Paul and husband Johnny Foster headed off into the sunset to Australia last year).

Paul Lambert returns to Emmerdale in June for a few episodes to participate in sister Nicole's wedding, but at least according to bang showbiz, the short stint could lead to a permanent return for the character. No word yet on how Paul Lambert might interact with Aaron Livesy, if at all.
