ATWT video clip update: Luke's closet claims 501(c)3 status

Today on As the World Turns, executive fundraiser (and cougar-chaser) Mr. Wheatley pulls Luke aside and suggests that for the benefit of Luke's new charitable organization the boys should maybe go back in the closet.

To his credit, Luke blows his stack and tells Grandma Lucinda that maybe Mr. Wheatley is not the right man to run the new foundation.

And here Lucinda was just starting to warm up to Mr. Wheatley! She even dressed all fancy for him today. Lucinda doesn't believe Wheatley could be homophobic and defends him to Luke. But later she tells Wheatley he's treading on thin ice and owes Luke an apology.

Meanwhile, Luke tells Noah about the "back in the closet" suggestion. Wondering how Noah reacts?  Check out today's clips after the break to find out. P.S. - there's a kiss in there somewhere!

Back to NUKE and the Closet

I'm kind of sick of the whole coming out/going back into the closet thing, first Noah and his sham marriage, now this foundation thing.... but I love the way grandma Lucinda put Brian in his place... she's a really awesome character.

    ...

good god, can they just do it already?!?!

did I miss the abstinence pledge episode? i'm glad that they didn't just jump into eachother's pants, but at this point lucinda will be getting more action in the sheets than her grandson will ever see.

    Luke's stand

I was actually very proud of Luke when he made his 'not back in the closet' stance to uh...Mr wheatly?  I was like 'good for you!'  And then he told Lily and his grandma, and then grandma's little discussion with the guy!  Woo-hoo!

As my boyfriend pointed out, for a charitable organization, do people really care where the help they're getting is coming from?  Really?  Aren't they pretty much happy just to get help?
