"It might be Armageddon and all that, but my hair is fabulous!"
Everybody's favorite glam rocker lends his soaring pipes to the theme song for Roland Emmerich's latest end of the world blockbuster. Lambert's devastating vocals are a nice complement to the film's world destruction visuals. We've got the over the top music video after the break!
2012 hits movie theaters November 13th. Adam Lambert's album (which includes "Time For Miracles" as a bonus track) hits stores November 23rd

guess this makes me pathetic, but....
I guess this makes me pathetic, but i am actually a bit freaked out for 2012 to come.
lmao, i think i need to stop watching 'The History Channel'
2012 is nothin special
Yes, this is exactly right. The Mayan calendar ends on December 21, 2012. However, this does not signify the end of our world but the end of our current age instead. The Mayan conception of history is cyclical, just like the conceptions of history embraced by many other ancient cultures separated from each other by wide gaps of both space and time. December 21, 2012 coincides with the end of our current age, the age of the 'fourth sun'. Once this age has ended, the next age will begin - the age of the 'fifth sun'.
Secondly, who the heck cares what the Mayans thought? If they could see the future, how come they're not still around?
Well, just in case.. I'm
Well, just in case.. I'm gonna plan a huge blowout party for my birthday on Dec 20 that year! If the world ends the next day, I've gone out with a bang. If not, I'll probably wish it had with the hangover! Either way, it's a great excuse for a party!!! LOL
Mayans

We may find out exactly how on December 21, 2012!!! :O
;P
well, supposedly if the world does end...
well, supposedly if the world does end, we die and then something called "the golden age" starts.
My dad says "people have been predicting the end of the world since i was a kid. you were there on dec 31st, 1999....did anything happen then liz?"
No reason to panic.
He'd like to come and meet us, but he thinks he'd blow our minds
Does this song remind anyone else of David Bowie's "Starman"? In this day of sampling, I guess it's not a problem, but I defintely get a Bowie vibe. Whatever, I hope it does well for Adam.
"The mountain has wings."
Bowie
I'm sure Adam would take that as a compliment!

Better than FYE
I actually like this a whole lot more than For Your Entertainment. I thought it was disappointing for his first single. Very generic, boring dance-pop. It might just be me though, I'm not a huge fan of that genre. I heard snippets from his album, and it seems like dance-pop is the genre for the whole album too, which is sad. He said the album would be of rock and pop and different stuff. Rock would fit his voice better, so there should have been more rock songs on the album IMO.
I like Time For Miracles. It has a pop-rock feel to it and a bit of country mixed in there too. Maybe not the best song I've ever heard, but certainly better than FYE.
Harvey Milk: You gotta give 'em hope.
FYE
I have to disagree... I loved them both! I do think that Music Again is going to be AMAZING! snippets are available here

It sounds like a big Queen tune... I LOVE the snippet!
I Swear...
if this song gets nominated for and wins a Golden Globe/Oscar for Best Original Song,my head will freaking explode. UGH!. Adam looks mighty good though...for being the love child of Freddie Mercury and The Cure's Robert Smith.

Where the Goo Goo Dolls busy?
Absolute treacle. "Devastating vocals" couldn't be more accurate.
Off to bleach my ears . . .
