Your Asshat of the Week: Pastor Steven Anderson

Our asshat nominees this time out included a science fiction writer who wasn't Orson Scott Card, perennial asshat fave Maggie Gallagher and her NOM minions, a hate-spouting Baptist minister from Tempe, and an Italian soccer coach. 

The minister won, unfairly tarnishing the reputation of Christians everywhere. If you're curious what exactly Pastor Steven Anderson said to take the buttocks crown and what his margin of victory was, read on!

As you can see, Pastor Anderson took this thing in a landslide, possibly for his claims to pray every night for President Obama's death and descent into hell. Or possibly for his comments on the gays: "I believe that every homosexual in the world is a deviant, is evil, and is a predator that is out to recruit others through molestation, through rape. It's in the news...I would keep my kids away from them."
