Your Asshat of the Week: Rhode Island Governor Don Carcieri

Our asshat nominees this time out included Washington DC's other newspaper. a perky conservative wingnut, the Governor of our tiniest state, and a marine reservist weilding a tire iron.

They're all deserving, but the asshat crown goes the guy with the veto pen.

This bill represents a distributing trend over the past few years of the incremental erosion of the principles surrounding traditional marriage.
