Your Asshat of the Week: The New York State Senate

Our asshat nominees this time out included a broadcast network, a central California mayor, a Catholic Cardinal who spoke out of turn, and the New York State Senate, which is actually moving backwards when it comes to gay marriage.

It's a bumper crop of asshats, but the New York state politicians take the crown.

Here are the voting results for this week's poll:

Extra boos go to Senator Joseph Addabbo who has not only previously supported gay marriage equality, but has had no trouble taking generous contributions from GLBT groups, and to Senator Ruben Diaz who has long opposed marriage equality and called the vote "treason."
