Avatar of the Week: Justin Andrews

Well folks, as the new guy here at AfterElton.com, they left me with the task of selecting this week's Avatar of the Week. I must say I've had a great time browsing through the candidates. For awhile there I was considering giving the prize to "Ana Aesthetic"...

She looks like a superheroine, and I have a thing for power women. Ana hails from Orlando, and in that costume I 'm thinking she might work at one of the theme parks down there. Her bio mentions she likes Tim Gunn and John Barrowman. She almost got my vote, but had to deduct points off for her not actually listing her sexual orientation in her profile. Curious minds of all persuasions want to know. Still, Ana, kudos for a great avatar pic.

Then I considered "mattymatt."

I just love the pic of him sipping tea in his straw boater and suspenders. I imagine he has impeccable table manners, and would be an excellent addition to any luncheon party. Matty lists his profession as "wiseacre," so if you do meet him at a luncheon/tea party, you'll probably want to sit beside him. But the one that got to me and thus is this week's winner is...

Justin Andrews!

Justin hails from Boston and is a political science major. Despite looking a bit like an eastern European porn star (always a plus in my book), Justin has been posting some very thoughtful comments here at AfterElton.com and seems like a very well-adjusted young man despite having come out only last year. Just about the only strike against the guy is that one day he "hopes to be a lawyer." Oh Justin, you can do so much better. You can find out more about Justin on his myspace page.
