Battle of the Network Gays: September 3, 2009
Every week we pick the gays who we think have made the biggest splash in television and leave it to you, the keepers of the flame, to decide who will be crowned Gay of the Week. We'll announce the winner in Friday's BGWE column, and that champ will reign until a new set of challengers are introduced the following week to try to steal his title. Last week newcomer Nick (Nicholas Rodriguez) from One Life to Live took the crown. This week we've got a dance crew, a head of household, an emo kid, and an out (but not so proud) cop competing to be your gay of the week. Check them out after the break, and vote for your favorite! This week's contenders:
Vote for your favorite by 10 PM EDT Today. And be sure to check back for tomorrow's BGWE column to see which network gay our readers have carried to glory! Submitted by on Thu, 2009-09-03 10:55. |

This week is an easy choice
Damon
Because he's smart as a whip, completey adorable and not your average teen gay.
Plus, no one's gonna know ANGST like a emo teen boy who likes boys.
I'm saving my Oliver voted after he makes amends with Kyle (bless his heart)
No brainer

"Being a bitch doesn't necessarily mean you're a bad person."
Not into labels???
"not into labels"?? bitch, please..
It's 'Offizer Hunk' by a landslide! For not only coming out once in real life, but then again on his show! One can only wonder if there was as much teary sniffling the first time..

"And for a woman wert thou first created;
Til Nature, as she wrought thee, fell a-doting,
And by addition me of thee defeated,
By adding one thing to my purpose nothing.
But since she prick'd thee out for woman's pleasure;
Mine be thy love, and thy love's use their treasure."

Shenanigans!
A poll opened earlier today, already closed when I surf the site?
The guy I would have voted for won anyway by a landslide, but still....
Kevin??? Never!
I want to root for Kevin, the longest-lasting gay contestant on Big Brother, but how can I support a gay bully? Kevin and his sidekick Natalie spend all their non-game time thinking up new ways to torment the other players, including a brainy misfit who has the misfortune of having no social skills.
Kevin's cruelty is not cute or witty, it's just mean. He should be ashamed of himself.
