Daniel Leary Does the Red Carpet at the GLSEN Awards

Gay and gay-friendly celebrities were out on October 10th to support GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network. Mores for Gays host Daniel Leary spent some time doing interviews on the red carpet.

    Especially glad to see Ellen Greene -- a singing actress who has never gotten the degree of fame she so richly deserves. She's wonderful in Mazursky's great Next Stop Greenwich Village and the fabulous movie version of Little Shop of Horrors. I also recall her on the cabaret circuit in the Golden Age of Reno Sweeney's.

    Who were the blonde lady and dark haired guy and what show are they on? I heard him call her Paige. Great interview by the way. Maybe next time you can put names with the faces so we know who you are talking to.

    Ooh I know this one, mostly because my mother has it on every Sunday night.  The two you're looking at are Paige Hemmis and Eduardo Xol from ABC's Extreme Home Makeover.  Paige is a carpenter with the show and Eduardo spends a lot of time landscaping but also does some interior designing.  I believe the other out member of the team is Michael Maloney the primiary designer for the interior family spaces (kitchen, living room etc).

    Great job. I agree with the above that it was especially great to see Ellen Greene (which reminds me that it's almost time for her current show Pushing Daisies to start!).
