Logo Drama Club – Episode 12: "Everyday Rapture" and the Lortel Awards with Hugh Dancy and Bryan Batt!

From Drama Club Pres. Will Pulos...
This week on Logo Drama Club, we went to two very exciting and glamorous theater events. (Really!) First off, was the opening of Everyday Rapture. Everyday Rapture is the new Sherie Rene Scott musical which follows the journey of a fictional character named “Sherie Rene Scott” as she falls in love with musicals. Enticing, no? We talked to the cast and creative team about the show, and the importance of follow spots.
After that, it was off to the 2010 Lucille Lortel Awards celebrating the best in Off-Broadway theater. There, we chatted with former teen witch Melissa Joan Hart, Mad Men’s Bryan Batt, hot Brit Hugh Dancy and Modern Family’s ginge-icon Jesse Tyler Ferguson about the importance of Off-Broadway theater. Yippee!
And yes… We’re all over the Tony Awards!
Are you kidding? We even crammed our way into yesterday’s Tony Nominees
meet and greet, so next week look for our sassy chats with the stars of
La Cage, and some big stars (Jude Law! Valerie Harper!). We’ve only got about one month before the big awards… It’s gonna get real Tony up in here, real fast. Stay tuned.
