Forbidden Love clip update:"Meet my roomate Chrissie."
Not much going on romantically in this episode between Christian & Olli, although in one early scene Olli teasingly calls his partner “Chrissie.” Is it possible for these two to get overly familiar with each other? (Actually, no.)
Today’s episode is more about Christian’s brother Gregor and his hamhanded attempts to get close with a pretty girl named Rebecca. Rebecca needs three really hot guys to model her swimwear collection. Fortunately for us viewers, she manages to rope in Olli, Christian, and Gregor for the project. Me, I’m looking forward to the next episode where I expect we’ll be treated to the actual photo shoot. We don't quite get there this episode though, as Rebecca finds herself stranded on a rowboat with Gregor. I can think of worse places to be.

Red Cross Ad
Hi Dennis, I'm sorry my comment doesn't pertain to the post, but I just noticed an American Red Cross ad on the site. There's probably not a lot you can do to control the ads, but it's just a heads up.

Actually, I wasn't aware the American Red Cross was on our side! I just remember the outdated ban that consistently prevents gay men from donating, but I suppose it really is the FDA's fault; I do remember a recent article about it. But no, I guess there really isn't a reason to be wary otherwise. Sorry for the distracting post!
I noticed that too.
I wasn't sure if maybe the situation was different in the US. Here in Australia, the rule is: if you are a man who had sex with another man in the past 12 months, you can't donate. I know Canada (thanks Marco del Rossi) has an anti-queer rule too, and possibly the UK. I assumed the US did too, but I wasn't sure. I looked it up and found out that a significant percentage of the US male population can't legally donate blood.
According to Wikipedia:
Specifically, the FDA classifies "Men who have had sex with another man even one time since 1977... Unsuitable Donors who Are at Increased Risk for HIV". Consequently, the American Red Cross is legally unable to collect blood from men who have sex with men. The organization in 2006, along with the AABB and America’s Blood Centers, petitioned to the FDA to remove the requirement from blood donations, citing better screening technologies. Despite the petition, the FDA has yet to reverse its stance on the issue.
In another article points our that those organizations actually want it reduced to 12 months, rather than actually getting rid of it all together. I know blood donation is a very important issue, but considering how wrong and hypocritical (saying how desperate they are for blood and then turning away perfectly good donors) it is and with most of AfterElton readers not being eligible because of this moronic rule, I'm not sure how I feel about the ad being displayed here.
What I'd like is for a really good journo to catch one of the PTB from the FDA and ask them why they think a man who is in a committed monogamous relationship with another man, and/or practising safe-sex, is more of a risk than a man who is having unsafe-sex with a different woman every week.
I was very disappointed to read some of the otherwise queer-friendly nations that still think there's something wrong with gay blood: Canada, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, South Africa, New Zealand, Netherlands, and more. Very sad, hopefully it will change soon.
OMG, that's a long rant. Oh well, might as well make my first post count.

I seen this clip this morning on gays of daytime when there was no subtitles yet but even withoud understanding what they where saying i laught out loud when Christian was talking to Gregor and he made that silly dancemove to mock his brother :) as it rained this morning and i did not want to go to work it helped brighten up the morning.
Looking foreward to seeing the boys modeling swimwear!!
So many moments of
So many moments of 'awesome' in this one: Christian mocking Gregor's dance moves (which, BWAH!); Miriam's look of total horror at the "she's ripe" comments; Gregor getting dunked (because, c'mon, he had it coming - I sincerely hope that Olli had nothing to do with the "kidnap her in a boat to make her love you" plan, because while I'd expect that from the Manns, I'd hope for better from him); and yet, conversely, Gregor's ass muse, which was worth the clip alone.
But crucially? We've found the one thing more adorable than Olli - Upside-Down Olli!
Two side notes: Number one, I -love- the music producers on this show. I know that Estelle song is kinda played out by now, but I was listening to it earlier this evening, so finding it here confirms that they are, in fact, reading my mind.
And on the "Red Cross" thing, add Ireland to the list of countries that consider gay blood less safe, except ramp it up a notch - if you've ever had sex with another man, you're banned from the Irish Blood Transfusion Service for life. Sex with 10 women a week for a year? Fine. Sex with one male partner in a long-term relationship? Disease! Makes perfect sense...

At last, it's been a week
At last, it's been a week since we got some Ollian loving. Just way too long a wait.
Such a cute and happy episode with so many priceless moments:

Christian mocking Gregor about women wanting romance with that expression on his face.
Gregor's hip swing as he was practicing his catwalk.
Gregor thinking he's going to get a little something from Rebecca on that small boat, but only ends up wet and humiliated.
Ollian continuing to be the sweetest couple on TV.
I know that Rebbeca likes to bring down Gregor's large ego a tad, but at the moment i'm just not feeling a positive vibe for her. Still, she's the new kid on the block, so let me give her some time.
I loved this episode
I just love the fact that "Forbidden Love" and especially the Ollian episodes are so well written and well acted. It's so much fun to watch them having a good time performing...which really came through in this episode.
And is Gregor a Neanderthal or what? Seriously, I am glad Rebecca squashed Gregor's ego...maybe he'll learn a bit about romance...he definitely needs some lessons. Actually Christian and Ollie can teach him.

I hear what you're saying maskbear55 about Gregor's large ego, but Rebecca's ego is also pretty inflated. She did mention how hot she thinks she looks, which, quite frankly, I don't find her very hot. I think she's sporting way too much bright makeup.
I do understand her tipping Gregor into the lake though. I think she was starting to panick a bit when she found herself alone with someone she hardly knew, out on a tiny boat in the middle of nowhere. Plus, Rebecca was expecting to see Christian and Olli to accompy Gregor.
But, like I said in my previous post...i'm just not feeling it for her at the moment. And I don't see much chemistry between these two actors . Also, she looks far too young for Gregor if you ask me. I know the actress is only 18 years old in real life, and she looks it. But again...we'll see how this play's out.

I'm with you there ... and after watching today's sub-titled clip, I have even less Rebecca love. Her dig to Gregor about Sarah was way below the belt. And could she pout any harder?

Obviously not closeted at home
Aside from the cuteness, one has to note that Olli referred to Christian as "my poor Chrissie". Even the most mancrushing straight boys don't generally use the possessive when referring to their buds.
Andreas (the actor playing Gregor) has to be one of the hottest men on TV. But does anyone else feel that, despite the fact that Christian is the one in a relationship with another man, Gregor is somehow the more "gay" of the two brothers?

Gregor is okay, but I'm much more into Olli, then Christian comes a close second.
I agree that Gregor is much more metrosexual than Christian, though. Christian doesn't present in a "gay" way at all. ;-)
Not much Ollian in this
Not much Ollian in this episode but it was a really cute one! I loved the look on Christian's face when he was teasing Gregor about his hip swinging routine. CUTE!
Hopefully in the coming episodes we get to see Olli and the Mann brothers wet in their swimming trunks! Cant wait!

Shirtless Olli, Christian
Shirtless Olli, Christian and Gregor in one scene just melted my computer screen. Now that photoshoot was worth the wait!!
Christian and Gregor are great looking guy's, but OMG! Olli I fine to be the hottest of the three and has the best body. Funny, since Christian is the one who is in training for his 'big fight.' Isn't he the one who is suppose to have that toned body? ;-)
Anyway, loved both clips, but can't wait for when Ollian take center stage again. At the moment it's second fiddle for them to Gregor and Rebecca. And still not taking to Rebecca, she so looks like a little school girl.
