Gay in the UK video blog (Ep. 24): Bike injury

This week on Gay in the UK, Ryan is nursing both a bike injury and hurt feelings — because of a complete lack of sympathy from co-host Tim.

In news, the guys provide more details on the gay youth center shootings in Tel Aviv (with some perspective that this might not actually be a hate crime.). They also report on Boy George's unsuccessful attempt to join the Hare Krishnas.

In culture, the guys reflect on the rampant metrosexuality in electro-pop, squabble over Watchmen (Tim loved it while Ryan fell asleep halfway through), and Tim makes a serious plug for the new Office-like hospital sitcom Getting On.

In the Winos, a toast to the Quakers,  a gay boybander's dad, and a Scottish policeman's homphobic internet rant.

Check it out after the break!

Note: We have received reports from some readers not able to play AfterElton.com videos. In many cases this can be resolved by updating your internet browser with the latest Flash video plug-in. If you are unable to play the video above, we suggest going to the Macromedia site and downloading Flash Player 10 to see if that resolves the problem.

It's funny because I am

It's funny because I am definitely up to date with flash player e.t.c, but usually when you guys first upload the video it doesn't usually work for me (like now, there is just a blank black box). But when I check a couple of hours laters it usually works. Wierd.

How do you give somebody a tea cosy over the internet?

But it sounded like Ryan said 80's to me. =) You guys are so funny.

Tea cosy

The power of the internet means we can communicate, get your address and post you a BRITISH TEA COSY

Don't miss your chance now - if I get it right and say 1990's? Or was Tim correct like he always is and I said 1980's?

You did say 80's Ryan but

You did say 80's Ryan but shame on Tim for not being concerned with an injury caused by such a socially responsible act as biking ;) But he is SO right to encourage you to do accents, it's fantastic fun!

Yay for going on holiday but boo for making us wait for more :(

Have fun in Roma and "maiming" more people guys!
