Homophonic video blog (Ep. 4): KIN

Alex gets comfy with quadruple-threats IQ and Nor in the middle of their shoot for a chat on all things KIN: starting with the herstory of their ten year collaboration and ending with a bright, blinged-out future for these break-out urban artistes.

Along the way, you'll learn how these two outstanding singer-rapper-writers keep their chins up and their heads straight despite adversity around every corner.

Check it out below for a behind-the-scenes, in-your-face look at KIN...exclusively from Homophonic.

SO POSITIVE AND SOOOOO REFRESHING!

Well done Homophonic, you've done it again! Bigger and even better than ever! Two beautiful, massively talented artistes proving that they are fearless and really doin' it, not just for themselves but for every gender, every class, no matter what ethnicity, whatever your sexuality, none of it matters as every person has their place. Kin's music is more than fabulous for so many reasons. They provide a funky, happening sound with a positive message that everyone needs to hear. Respect to these ladies and their families who have and obviously still are supporting them, for being true to themselves. Forget the people who failed to accept you, they don't deserve you! I really believe that Kin will change the World by shouting out the "Love your children" message. It's so good to see people making a difference and providing a safe haven for kids coming up and coming out.

These musicians are fighting some of today's hardest battles. Being women, being lesbian and being in the Rap World is a major statement. I wish Kin every success, they make me proud to be a woman. Who needs a female president? These gals are making the difference for all of us!

Feminism not required.. just smart, amazing individuals like Kin. Good luck! Looking forward to watching this band rise to the top!

Manchester...

Only because I couldn't I couldn't get my hands on a PROPER Tottenham Hotspur jersey...

Nor and IQ are the hardest working women in hip-hop, that's for sure.

Thanks for watching, Patsy...you're truly fab-you-less!

Oh Yes!

I love these girls have followed them for months now. Im glad that they are getting the recognition that they deserve. Lesbians or not, their music is intoxicating. They need to do a show in Phoenix or California so I can see them perform.
