American Idol is over and Jim and Penny don black tie and break out the champagne to discuss the star-studded finale and share their final thoughts on this season's show. Among them...

  • Producers sabotaged Syesha with a song from the Happy Feet soundtrack.
  • To keep him from meddling, David Archuleta's Dad had to be duct taped to his chair.
  • Jim and Penny disagree over George Michael's performance. Jim loved it, but it made Penny sad.
  • Carrie Underwood looked like she had a fishnet attached to her sleeves. "She could totally wear it on Deadliest Catch - Idol not so much.".

    I have been trying to get my freaking hair like his forever but I just do not know how to do it! does anyone have any pointers? or what numbers to use on the clippers? the front is the bitch for me because I get it right from the sides but mess it up from the front. btw I have naturally wavy hair, so do I use heat? can someone help me? my hair is like fixing curtains for me, I know exactly how I want them I just cant get that way!

    You thought Mike Myers.... was funny? EUGH.

    And you acknowledged that George himself stated he had a cold, but yet still thought it was sad? He was sick and did the show anyway, give him some credit.

    Allow me to clarify.. I did not think his performance was sad. Kudos to him for singing even though he was 'sick. I thought he was sad. Instead of George Michael, he looked like a sad, tired old version of himself. He is one hand fan and a ponytail away from being Karl Lagerfeld.I have said it before and I will say it again " I abhor the lengths of plastic surgery to which these stars go to look young! They wind up looking old, anyway and just... well, sad!"

    Maybe I am speaking from a straight woman's perspective but, since that is the only perspective I have let me ask a question of all of you "Am I the only one who thinks most men look better when they get a little older?" A little rugged toughness? A little bit worn around the edges?

    I could be wrong (it happens all the time)
