Stephen Colbert visits teabagging capitol of the world...

Regular Colbert Report viewers will be familiar with Stephen Colbert's travel feature, where he visits various congressional districts around the country to speak with their elected representatives.

Last night, for the first time, Stephen returned to a district he had already visited: Colorado's 2nd, first for some hilarious green-screen ski slope action, then to talk with the first openly gay man elected to Congress, Rep. Jared Polis.

After first confusing the congressman for Subway pitchman Jared Fogle (and getting in a product plug!), the two men settle down to a beer bong and a debate over whether sexual orientation is a choice, or something innate.

Check out the video after the break!

Colbert Classic

Between Colbert's faux-reporting and Barney Frank's kick-ass rebutes in his town hall meeting, I'd say it's been a good week for gay political visibility. Because activism isn't just about parades, boycotts, or marches; it's sometimes just about being.
