The Ladies' Choice Hot 50 Results

Love it!Clearly the afterelton ladies have great taste. ;-)

...since I voted for Harris, Allen, Cruz and Barrowman. :) Interesting results though, I admire Stephen Fry for his witty books and great acting but sorry, I don' think he's hot. "To each his own now, we say here" to quote my favorite movie Big Eden! :)

Most of my list made it! Still no Jeremy Sheffield though. Dammit.

A very good list, I was so excited to see that Simon Amstell made the list. I figured I was going to be the only one voting for him.

I only voted for Neil Patrick Harris, Adam Lambert, and Wilson Cruz so I'm happy they made it :)

Wow, some of the people I voted for made it (Simon Amstell, Rufus Wainwright, Alan Cumming, and Patrick Wolf). Definitely different then the original list. I never realized I have typically female taste before.

And I have to say I agree with Jay Brannan and Adamo Ruggerio.  

I think a far more fair comparision would be between the Ladies' Choice list and the Hot 100: Out Gay Men list, since the main Hot 100 was open to votes for hot straight men as well. When comparing the Top 10 of those two lists, the only major difference is that the ladies placed Adam Lambert, while pushing Lance Bass further down the list. If the published Hot 100: Out Gay Men list had included the top 50 vote-getters, I have a feeling the lists would be very similar.

... there are so many hot out men to choose from!  We've come to the point that ladies can be asked to vote on which gay/bi guys they find attractive and we can make a diverse amazing list of 50 with lots left over!

I'm hoping this signals a change.

Great choices though. I like that Scott Gill made it on the list because I voted for him in the Men over 40 poll.

Ladies, my hat is off to you. A brilliant set of choices. Actually, i think it's better than the gay men's Hot 100 - far more diverse. It seems to have brought in ideas like wit and humour and intelligence as factors of hotness in addition to physical appearance. We have way cool women reading this site. I love it.

Darn, Bryan Singer didn't make it on. I was, however, excited to see Tom Lenk's name. A testament, I think, to how many of us are geeks at heart.

I voted for Colbert, Stewart, Gareth David-Lloyd (I don't really see JB's attraction..sorry;), the two guys from Love Songs, one I don't remember (probably Keith Olberman, edit) and the politician guy (when you faked JB's twitter reaction to losing to NPH...can't remember his name..He is hot though^^) I have been looking for this article for half an hour but can't seem to find it!

Damn! I knew I had forgotten something over the weekend. Dammit! But luckily, the other ladies took care of creating a fantastic list. I am so glad so many different guys made the list. Congrats.

But unfortunately, somehow I missed it.

Not bad choices, though sorry, there are a few who keep making it high up on these Hot lists that I just don't get -- men who are wonderful guys that I adore, but I just don't find the least bit hot. Overall, I'm totally fine with about 90% of this list, though i'd have rearranged them a bit. And no Gale Harold?! That's a crime. As is the lack of men of color.  But the ladies put a few points back in their win column by adding Rufus and Jay -- good call ladies!

There are just so many hot men and women out there, it's hard to pick!

I'm happy to see that six of my choices made the list, but disappointed the other four didn't.  Can't win them all, I guess.  ;-)

(I'd have to say that I don't know almost half of the winners.)

Diversity does seem to be the word for the Ladies Choice Hot 50.  There are a few names on the list I wish had remembered to include with my vote.

I considered Rupert Everett, but after seeing photos of his plastic surgery results, I just couldn't.  He looks normal enough, but it creeps me out that he's completely unrecognizable.

was Dan Savage. I always hear other women say he's hot. I don't get it. I always thought of him as the Simon Cowell of advice columnists, albeit a funnier, more charismatic version of Simon Cowell. I enjoy Simon Cowell a lot (more on Brittish shows than American ones, for some reason), but I don't find him attractive.

It's cool to see this list. It's nice to see Luke MacFarlane was high up on this list too. I'm also glad that some of my runners up, who I didn't have space for, such as Chad Allen, Adamo Ruggerio and B D Wong also made the cut. I thought making the list would be fairly easy, but it was cool to realise that I had more than ten that I really liked. I was glad to be able to vote for guys, such as Mark Feehily or John Amaechi, who I would have liked to see in the regular hot 100, but couldn't vote for. (I could posted suggestions in the comments, but I didn't think about that at the time.) This was really interesting and fun, overall. :)

All my choices made it. I didn't vote for Ian McKellen and Stephen Fry (don't think they're hot, not into older men), but I'm very happy they made the list: my number 1 and 2 on my list of favorite men in the world

I see that some of the girls voted for Ian McKellen and George Takei. While I really respect them as actors and rolemodels, I don't find them attractive. They're too old. Does that make me shallow?

Pretty good list, but I'm so sad that the lovely Mark Gatiss didn't make the cut :-(
