Meet Ru Paul's "Online Drag Race" winner
We've got a bit of casting news for the second season of Ru Paul's Drag Race, which will air on Logo (our parent company) early next year. In addition to the regular reality show casting process (where the show's producers select the contestants), the show runs an online contest to fill one of the 12 contestant slots.
At rupaulcasting.com, Ru herself invited drag queens from around the country to submit photos, blogs, and performance videos. Then the public was able to vote on their favorites, and the resulting winner was spicy Miami native Jessica Wild.
Wondering how the rather tamely named "Jessica Wild" won out over the likes of "Dusty Pouché," "Dragity Kane," and "Mimi Imfurst"? Check out photos of Jessica (both in and out of drag) as well as her winner's video after the break.
