South of Nowhere's Aiden resurfaces — Shirtless we hope!

South of Nowhere, which recently ended its three season run on The N always had a cult following among lesbians for its positive portrayal of lesbian teen couple of Spencer and Ashley. As a result, Matt Cohen, the handsome actor who played the oft-shirtless and endlessly supportive Aiden on that series, is probably more familiar to gay women than he his to gay men! 

That's a darn shame because even though the actor is straight, he's clearly a friend to the community. (You can check out this video blog guest spot on sister-site AfterEllen.com, where he shows up to deliver a pizza to the ladies. Note: he appears at the very end of the vid).

Matt has a new online web series called Rockville CA, which just premiered on the WB.com. In it, he plays the beguiling frontman for an indie rock band.

The mystery actress pictured above is none other than Alexandra Chando, who got her start playing Maddie on As the World Turns. She was best friends with Luke and dating Noah when the boys first kissed.
