"90210" Prepares To Push a Leading Hunk Out of Their Custom Built Closet

But which hunk?

So the Spurf™ says that the co-executive producer of 90210, Jennie Urman, has decided that Beverly Hills probably has homosexuals in high school. And not the sweeps-based lesbian fling Adrianna had with Rumer Willis, but full fledged leading man grade-A slab of man.

That's right - he's put forward three possible candidates to come out of the closet, and they're central to the story. The only lead teen not up for stumbling out of the closet is Dixon (Tristan Wilson), the technical teen lead. I quit watching about halfway through the last season, so my information about the characters may be out-of-date, but let's ogle look at the contenders.

Doesn't spend a lot of shirtless time on 90210.

The last time I saw the show, Navid (Michael Steger) had just lost his virginity to a girl. He'd been waiting to make it special, in contrast to how his family usually handles these things. His dad is an adult film mogul, and his mother is for former star of the films.

Steger's gone on the record in interviews that his character in 90210 is not gay, but that was two years ago, which is forever ago in TV years. Steger's also scheduled to appear on HBO's True Blood as a junkie hooked on V and in the thrall of Russell Eddington. Apparently his character's resemblance to Talbot, the Vampire King's lover of 700 years, is what gets Russel's attention.

The one with daddy issues are always gay, right?

Up next, we have Liam (Matt Lanter), the bad boy with anger issues and a bad relationship with his stepfather, who keeps trying to send him off to reform school. Liam's also the ex-boyfriend of Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord), the resident minx, and carried on an affair with her older sister for a while.

Liam ruined the reputation of female lead Annie (Shenae Grimes) by pretending he was sleeping with her, but it turned out he was being blackmailed. Has piercing blue eyes and the sexiest amount of baby fat, and just oozes sex.

His backstory is the most flexible, but will they "waste" his "leading man" looks.

Teddy (Trevor Donovan) is a late addition to the cast. He's had a BFF relationship with Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes), but professes that it's more. He's the son of a mega-famous movie star we've never seen. He arrived in town after being kicked out of private school for an indescretion with a girl, but it was later revealed he was the good guy and was protecting her from a bigger issue.

Teddy had a reputation as a party boy womanizer, but we didn't see a lot of it. The actor is 30-years-old, so going gay with the older actor gives a lot of room, and they've gone out of their way to make the absent father sound a lot like Tom Cruise, which could provide a lot of innuendo.

Which hunk do you think is more likely? Vote below, and use the comments to build your case.

Are you excited about 90210 finally going there, and with a lead character too?
