• Sally Potter's film Orlando, originally released in 1992 and starring Tilda Swinton, Quentin Crisp, and Jimmy Somerville, is about to hit theaters for a second time. Based on the novel by Virginia  Woolf, the gender-bending film covers 400 years of period pieces.

• Although most parts of the country won't see it until Friday, New York City already has the Father's Day issue of People en Espanol, and look who's on the cover - hot daddy Ricky Martin!

• I remain committed to boycotting the A-Team as I mentioned this morning, but I do still have a soft spot for that incredible body Bradley Cooper is sporting in the film. Evidently, so does Bradley.

• Hunky Jason Patric has joined the already overflowing cast of Tilda on HBO. One plus about an out director like Bill Condon, he makes excellent casting decisions. Excellent in this case meaning "decisions I like."

• As part of a marriage equality movement in Ireland, the We Are Family poster campaign launched today to raise awareness of the failings of the upcoming the Civil Partnership Bill.

• In response to the hateful messages last week claiming Hitler's brownshirts were gay, we get a beautiful statement on how to fight for recognition in small ways in our everyday lives. Also, now I want cake.

Come out.  Be out.   Live out.  Advertise your sexual orientation.  Let everyone know the gender of your beloved.  Or your ex.  Or your date for Saturday night.  Wear an I’m gay button to the grocery store.  Get a heart-shaped frame from Target, put in your partner’s picture, and stick it on your desk at work.  When your office celebrates a birthday, yell out, “MY BOYFRIEND (GIRLFRIEND) WOULD LOVE THIS ICE CREAM CAKE!

• I know his beau avoids the spotlight, but I'd like to join Cheyenne Jackson in wishing his partner Monte a Happy Birthday! You've got quite a man, Monte, so you must be a heck of a catch.

• Hip hop star Wale, who caught a lot of flak last week for canceling on Black Pride after "realizing it was a gay event" made good over the weekend by performing at the event that he apparently wasn't even aware he was booked for or canceled from.

One thing I stand for is hip hop music. And hip hop music knows no race, no color, no age, no gender, no sexual orientation -- none of that. So, the most important thing about it is the music, and if it makes the people feel happy, that's what we hear. I will say, sometimes in this business you get aligned with people that don't understand that, or don't necessarily have the same beliefs that you do. And I apologize for not, you know, having my best foot forward to understand the people I'm in business with. And I'm going to do better.

• President Obama made the Presidential Proclamation of June as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month.

• Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo has come out in support of Portugal's marriage equality law. Having a public statement by a sports star of his profile in a predominantly Catholic country is huge, regardless of some bad feelings people harbor for Renaldo himself.

• Another Tuesday, another preview of True Blood. I've getting impatient for the new season to start, especially since Ryan Kwanten is giving out advice to his male costars on how to be naked on screen. For now I'll have to settle for Sookie manhandling Eric.

• The Bilerico Project has some lovely 1984 homoerotic publicity stills of Carl Marotte and Keanu Reeves from a Toronto theater production of Wolfboy that I highly recommend.
