Afternoon Meme: Fierce Factor by Lady Gaga, Norway's Fashion Statement, Larry Kramer Is Cranky, and Kradison

I may take some heat for this spoof because it pulls up a bunch of tired stereotypes, but frankly I think it does that in the right way. And as a reality show, Fierce Factor by Lady Gaga is no less ridiculous than what airs on Bravo every night, or if we're honest, RuPaul's Drag Race. Make the men look like actual male models, and I might tune into this.

Diane Sawyer calls both Betty White and the man behind the Facebook campaign to have Betty White host Saturday Night Live. Both of them are endearing and lovely, but I don't know what Betty has against nudity. Age isn't stopping Helen Miren.

Chris Hardwick is one of my favorite comedians. You can't say he's always politically correct, and that's stopped me from running some of his stuff before. He has a routine about Abercrombie & Fitch that can make me snort Red Bull out of my nose even on the 576th time I hear it. But I think his idea that presidents have a "Sl*t Squad" to help distract the public from major problems is almost spot on. And he manages to tie in a gay element at the end.

Locally, we have a shop called "Furniture Store" that could run this voice-over on top of their ever-present television commercials. It would fit perfectly. At least these folks are honest.

I've got a series of brief interviews with Kris Allen, Allison Iraheta, and Adam Lambert before they played their "Rock This Town" gig in New York City last week. I wish they were all in on clip, but they got chopped up into bite-size words of wisdom.

First they talk about their recent collaboration and how they chose the song.

Then they say the attraction to the three of them is all about the hair. They also get in a good dig on Danny Goki.

And finally, focus shifts to Adam Lambert and his upcoming tour of Europe and Asia, where attitudes are a little more "liberal" which may suit him better.

Here's a preview clip of the always cantankerous Larry Kramer appearing on The Joy Behar Show Friday. Pop some popcorn folks, this could be good.

CNN talks to the always outspoken Sarah Silverman at the TED Conference about what offends her. It's not what you'd think. As a side note, the big rich brains at TED got more than they bargained for by hiring Sarah, and took to Twitter to express their distaste. That was a mistake. Never, ever bad mouth a comedian. You can find coverage elsewhere.

MSNBC has a great clip about Norway's curling team and their fashion choices, which I think are great. Also, curlers are surprisingly hot, from all countries, I've noticed. Thirdly, someone in my social network observed that curling is a cruel sport, as it uses the decapitated heads of Snorks.

Cats are famous for their willpower and determination. But what happens when they face off against each other?

Alice In Wonderland released a new featurette for Wonderland Wednesday. There's nearly three seconds of new footage in this with all the old footage. But we do get to hear the March Hare speak, the Bandersnatch roar, and Stephen Fry's Cheshire Cat smile a few times.
