#biggaybattle Achieves Full-Blown Meme Status With Fan Art

Success Baby says so.

Sometimes things go viral, and it can't be planned or made to happen. The #biggaybattle, as Neil Gaiman was so kind as to title it, is one of those things.

And when things go viral, they generally get fan art. Success Baby at the top of this post is from a website dedicated to quickly generating fan art about subjects for blogs. I built the picture above myself. It's the modern day Crayola. Heck, LOLCats have probably made someone rich.

But I'm not that witty. That's what smart people do. Fortunately, we have many of those as readers and their fan art has started to appear about the #biggaybattle. We had nothing to do with it, but we like it!

The first one we saw was based on the Kanye West/Taylor Swift moment from the MTV Video Music Awards. Obviously Kanye is a Captin Jack fan.

Username Ayalulan

In the comments of this morning's article, we discovered that our own new user Regina Noctis has been holding out on us. I had completely forgotten this picture of Captain Jack existed, it had been so long since I'd seen it.

The first variation, I'm all in favor of. I'll hold the official tape.

Plus, she had a second entry.

Up until now, it's been about sword play. Do we really need guns?

Reader Anthony sent this in - I'm not sure if that was his username or just his real name, which I should have asked for up front. He got it to me earlier, but I was writing Briefs. I think it's brilliant.

I love this one. Best episode of HIMYM in ages.

I'm sure there's more that we haven't seen, but we'd sure love to. Keep it good-natured, put links in the comments, or you can email them in. We'll post updates as long as you guys keep sending in the funny.

Oh, and keep them clean folks. Despite what that one blog said, we are SFW, and are proud of it.
