Stephen Colbert Speaks Out About Referendum 71 in Washington State, Supports Gay Duck Marriage

He's never liked you, Washington.

Last night the faux conservative circled so far back around the topic of Washington state's Referendum 71 on their "everything but marriage" domestic partnership bill, he ended up coming out in favor of domestic partnerships.

Granted, he's only coming out for supporting the bill so that people can keep their "sexual orientation orientation" a secret, but I've got to give credit where credit is due - this was satire done right. Not only did he manage to justify maintaining his conservative persona, he still managed to not give up a soundbite against domestic partnerships. That takes skill. 

Plus, any clip with a man in a bad Donald Duck suit playing the piano amuses me. It's like my version of LOLcats. Watch and discuss.
