The Cast of "Glee" Take On Vocal Superstar...Avril Lavigne? Watch!

There are at least three major musical performances in next week's episode - Mercedes will belt out Hate On Me by Jill Scott, and Rachel and Finn will duet on on Jordin Sparks/Chris Brown's No Air. But holding the show's plot together will be the stage performance of Avril Lavigne's Keep Holding On.

The song had never made much of an impression on me before, but the way these kids do it, with a host of violins in the background, it's truly moving. I know we said they needed more music. We also said it needed less Rachel/Finn. They seem to have given us half of what we wanted.
