I had to go to youtube to find this, but it was worth it.  Puck is quite charming, and he sings very sweetly too.  I hope Kurt is paying attention!  As for Neil Diamond, I used to hate this song (although I like a good many of his other tunes.)  Once I almost rented an apartment in college, but as the landlord was showing me around, the most horrible sounds started coming through the paper-thin walls from the apartment next door.  A male voice with a pronounced accent was singing "Sweet Caroline" at the top of his lungs in the shower.  I passed on the apartment.

He does a great job with the song. It's good to see them allowing the other actors to shine.

I think every episode should feature Puck either his pool cleaning gig, or in the shower.

Once again there is a lot going on in this clip. Especially pay attention to Rachel, Finn, Quinn, and even Santana.

I gotta say, Mark is not only cute, but a nice singer. It was awkward that his voice fitted the song very nicely. It was a great tribute! And it was AWESOME!

LoL looks like Rachel has a new crush! And he likes Jewish people!

 

Looks like Puck is serenading Rachel. This should be an interesting development. Can't wait till next week!

He secretly got Finn's cheerleader girlfriend drunk and pregnant, now he's putting the moves on Rachel. And Finn is beginning to put the pieces together.   Anybody want to bet that Finn finally figures out that his best friend and the women in his life have all betrayed him -- right before regionals?  That'll be fun to watch.

Next week I'll be in Japan, and I only can think if I'm going to be able to find a way to watch this...

Wow, this kid has a great voice. It makes me want to watch the show to see what the blonde cheerleader is going to do. It looks like she has eyes for him when he only seemed to have eyes for the one he was singing to. blagues

Which is a name a certain fanbase for a daytime soap reveres.  Yes, we have a Noah "Puck" Puckerman in GLEE!

I like this development and am actually rooting for Puck and Rachel.  

I also would love a drunken encounter between Puck and Kurt just so Ryan Murphy can get it out of his system because you know he wants to write that plot point :o)

now we know that puck's got a very decent voice, so there is no reason why he can't handle any of the solos that Finn always gets. I expect to see him front and center more in the future. 

Get on it, Shue.

So hot, and has a great voice too!!  He has a better voice than Finn does, yet never gets the solo.  Glad to see that he's getting his chance.

First of all I love Finn's voice!

I see Puck singing to Rachel which Finn doesn't like. I see Santana looking pissed that Puck is singing to Rachel. I see Quinn seeing Puck in a different light.

I think Puck is playing Rachel because he really wants Quinn. So Finn likes Rachel. Puck likes Quinn. Santana likes Puck. Rachel is flattered but she really wants Finn. I'm guessing that Kurt also likes Puck which would be a really bad thing.

I also see me with Finn but that's a different story.

Great to see that Puck's had his moment to shine. As for giving each one their moment I pretty much think other than Artie that each has had a moment. Some more than others.

 

but Puck is pure sex!

And I don't know why exactly, but of all the characters, I can definitely see Puck as bi down the road.  Maybe it's that "pure sex" quality that makes me see him as unwilling to contain himself within any sexual boundaries.  Like his sole purpose in life is to just get naked with as many people as possible, no holds barred.  Or maybe I'm just wishful thinking.

Actually, what might make for a fun development, is if Puck had a brother...and it was discovered that his brother was dating Kurt.  Ha!

Is it my imagination or does Finn look a bit green?  Is he jealous because Puck is singing to Rachel?  Or is it because he is suddenly realizing he might not be the only alpha-male who can carry a tune in his H.S.  Seems like he is being threatened on several different levels during this song.

Finn may definitely feel threatened as no longer the only male lead singer in the Club.  He should be very much used to being king of the hill in all aspects of school, what with being the starting quarterback of the football team too.

Btw, I get the feeling that Puck couldn't care less about his Jewish heritage, that he's only using it to get Rachel interested in him.  It just seems like it would be a surprising turn of character for him to all of a sudden be this big "look at me, I'm Jewish!" guy when it was never alluded to until this past episode.

I was just bemoaning in the last episode how Puck was great as a bully but then defanged.  But Neil Diamond?  No matter.  The guy's got it.
