The Young and the Twitterers: Michael Muhney's tweet bromance with his co-star

To bring you the best news for Daytime Drive By, I started following Michael Muhney, who plays our fauxmosexual Adam on The Young and the Restless. Through him, I discovered that Y&R is a very Twitter-savvy cast  and  with Y&R on summer break, the actors are all off just being themselves. In addition to Michael, I picked up Daniel Goddard, who plays Cane. Then I snagged Christian LeBlanc, who plays Michael Baldwin, then Michelle Stafford who plays Phyllis.

This has proved to be unintentionally hilarious. Over the weekend, you had Christian in Las Vegas, Twittering from the winner of the Y&R dream wedding contest as well as from various bars and casinos around the Strip.

But the real motherlode is the total bromance between Michael and Daniel. What follows are some of their bromantic exchanges.  Remember to read each from the bottom up.

Seems like Daniel is giving Michael (vacationing in Hawaii) a bit of ribbing for his heteroflexible character:

.

This piece of slashfic art was tweeted to Michael. He loved it so much he shared it with the world - and more specifically, with his costar, Daniel, since he was starring in the poster, too.

.

So what did Daniel think about being included in the hoyay instead of just dishing it out?

.

But despite being able to take a joke, Daniel seems to be much more interested in dishing the crap than anything. When Michael says goodbye to the beauty of Maui, Daniel knows why he's really rushing back to Los Angeles.

Like any couple, they let each other know embarrassing little things, like if one has broccoli stuck in their teeth, or to be supportive when one has a technology issue.  See Daniel support Michael when he can't make his iPhone stop including his precise geographic location (score!) when he tweets:

Turns out Daniel likes to race cars. Turns out he's a bit confused about how two guys might have sex though, and what accessories may be involved:

But the reality is that their love across Twitter is a fundamental truth that Michael can't escape, and he's man enough to acknowledge it:

If you're wondering how the 4,000 or so followers these guys have react to all this banter, they seem to love it, and egg the boys on. The followers seem to be mostly straight women, so it just goes as further evidence that women love a hot male couple, even if they're only a Twitter couple.

Oh, and one last detail.

Daniel seems intent on harassing Michael about his role, as Adam. Actors live in exceptionally fragile glass houses when it comes to roles they ought to be blushing about. A little investigating of Daniel Goddard using the miracle that is IMDb, I discovered that other than Cane Ashby, Daniel's biggest role was in the syndicated Tarzan knockoff, Beastmaster. What's so embarrassing about that? He spent four years talking to a pair of ferrets, dressed like this:

Oh, those highlights!
